MAVlab Innovation Talks #17

Innovation is often celebrated through individual projects and breakthrough ideas, but the real story is usually one of collaboration. Transforming systems, overcoming complex challenges and creating new approaches that endure requires councils, communities, partners and practitioners to work together in new ways.

Join us for this month's Innovation Talks as we explore three outstanding Victorian council projects that demonstrate the power of collaboration in action. From a pioneering shared cyber security model led by the City of Greater Bendigo, to the multi-agency Yering Billabongs restoration project in Yarra Ranges, and Murrindindi Shire's integrated approach to housing, planning and regional growth, our speakers will share the partnerships, relationships and ways of working that made these initiatives possible.

Together, we'll unpack the critical ingredients of effective collaboration, examine lessons that others can apply, and discover how councils can work across traditional boundaries to achieve greater impact for their communities.
