The MAVlab Innovation Awards night is back in 2026 and it's bigger, brighter and bolder than ever.

Join more than 300 local government leaders, changemakers and innovators on Thursday 17 September at Fitzroy Town Hall for an uplifting evening that brings the sector together to recognise achievements, share ideas and celebrate the people making a real difference across Victoria.

This is local government at its best. Across 13 award categories, we'll shine a spotlight on the initiatives, leaders and teams challenging the status quo, embracing new approaches and delivering meaningful outcomes for Victorian communities.

The evening also marks the launch of the 2026 MAVlab Innovation Case Study Library, a unique and evolving sector resource, showcasing practical examples of innovation in action and highlighting what's possible when councils collaborate, think differently and learn from one another.

Whether you're cheering on colleagues, catching up with peers or making new connections, you'll leave feeling inspired by what's possible for local government.

Awards Finalists: $65 + GST
- Maximum of 3 finalist tickets per project
- Additional tickets purchased as General Admission
General Admission / Supporter: $90 + GST

All tickets include 1 welcome drink, grazing and roaming canape food throughout the night. Additional drinks are available for purchase.

Event Format: A standing cocktail event designed for networking, celebrating and connecting. Seating not allocated.
